Ellipse

An elliptical sheet is slit and then bent by hand to form the ellipse light. 
This transformation gives it strength and volume.  It can be hung from the ceiling, mounted on a wall, or placed on the floor.  It looks as if it is flying and is large enough to cast a generous light.
