NEST

Exhibition stands for art galleries

From the galleryfs point of view, these platforms are compact, easily stored and facilitate exhibitions of various sizes and layouts.
The basic idea behind them was to take away 3 sides of a wooden box, gradually reducing the thickness of the wood to make each stand easily fit into itfs counterpart, allowing them to be easily stacked, almost like a nest.
When used singly, the lack of 3 sides creates a feeling of openness mixed with a tinge of anxiety at the seeming lack of stability, and when the corresponding larger or smaller stand is added, the function of having numerous units becomes apparent, and they become much more stable.
With a width range of 27cm to 71cm, and heights ranging from 72cm to 112cm, the stands can be arranged in any number of ways, sometimes a desk, at other times a bench. When not in use they combine to form a compact, easily stored rectangle.
Although unassuming in outward appearance, their presence is direct and powerful.
