I wanted to make a chair once again by using plywood, a material that had been used over and over again. By simply assembling the cut sheets without any special processing applied, I searched within my present point of view, for a scale and a form that can only be derived from a most primitive production method. To discover something new through the use of an ordinary material and low-technology methods; for me this is a “new action” going back to the source.
