Projet Replica

Having a interest for the Mnemosyne work of Aby
Warburg, I feel that we all have a subconscious
memory of shapes from everyday
objects, travel, media,... And since sometimes I
feel myself, as a designer, surrounded and
overwhelmed by objects that try to attract my
attention and grab my hands, I started this Replica
project. In the Replica's world, I immediately
thought of Teddy bears that are replicating the
world. In English the funny meaning of the
expression "stuffed animal" led me think about
Replica in this way: Replica will start to replicate
objects stuffing them, making new soft useable
stuffed objects.

Phase 1 lampe.
replicated object: Donburi bowl 2 times.
material: Nylon parachute cloth, survival blanket,
zipper, stuffing material.
